About Thrive Coastal Christian Academy

Thrive Coastal Christian Academy is a Christian K–12 school in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, dedicated to helping students grow spiritually, academically, and personally through individualized instruction and a biblical worldview.

Our mission is to inspire students to know God, love learning, serve others, and reach their full potential through faith-based education and academic excellence.

We envision a school where children are deeply known, joyfully engaged, academically challenged, spiritually grounded, and prepared to lead lives of purpose, service, and integrity.

At Thrive, faith is not separated from learning. We teach through a biblical worldview, helping students understand truth, character, responsibility, and God’s purpose in every area of life. We want children to know that they are deeply loved by God and called to grow in wisdom, compassion, and courage.

We believe children learn best when they can move, explore, create, and discover. That is why we value outdoor learning, hands-on projects, real-world experiences, and meaningful engagement with God’s creation. Nature-based learning helps children build curiosity, confidence, resilience, and joy in the learning process.

Thrive Coastal Christian Academy is pioneering a new model of Christian education that combines the hands-on, whole-child philosophy of Montessori education, the flexibility and personalization of homeschooling, the accountability of data-driven instruction found in high-performing public schools, and—most importantly—the intentional discipleship of children in Jesus Christ.

We believe learning should not be confined to four classroom walls. Our students learn through exploration, real-world experiences, service, nature, community partnerships, and frequent educational field studies that connect academic concepts to God's creation and the world around them. Rather than asking students to simply memorize information, we cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.

Every instructional decision is individualized to meet students where they are academically while helping them grow toward their full potential. Through ongoing assessment and data-informed instruction, we ensure each child receives the support and challenge they need to thrive.
